It takes many volunteers working alongside paid staff to make our summer camp program possible. The Outdoor Ministries Team led by Belinda Amend, Belmont Boulevard CC, Salina, is looking for volunteers to make the 2022 season the best one yet.
Tawakoni is committed to ensuring all children and youth who attend our 2022 Summer Camp Programs have a fun and safe time. Following the CCK Child Protection Policy, ALL volunteers (maintenance workers, nurses, directors, chaplains, and counselors) and staff working at camp this summer will need to turn in a Volunteer Application Form and have a background check on file.
All paid and volunteer staff will be expected to be a good example of Christian faith and follow all COVID safety protocols as advised by the Camp Manager and Outdoor Ministries Team.

Chaplains are full participating ministers at camp who spend time with the kids and bring their creative approach to worship and bible study, rooted in the Disciples of Christ tradition.
