Education is a capable tool for empowering students’ success and inspiring their future. Many point to the need for good teachers and increased funding to make this happen.
But funding doesn’t matter if it doesn’t translate to pencils and paper that students can use for work. An inventive teacher isn’t effective if his or her students don’t have the appropriate supplies.
Help Kansas Christian Home (KCH) support the children and teachers of Harvey County. From July 1 to August 15, KCH will be collecting school supplies to help get staff children ready for school and to adopt a classroom(s) and support a deserving teacher with the supplies her students will need throughout the year.
