Disciples Center at Tawakoni.
In the spirit of growth and community, we are thrilled to share some exciting news with you. As the winter season blankets Disciples Center at Tawakoni with its serene beauty, we are continuing the transformative journey that promises to elevate our shared experience here.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of members from our region, the Training Lodge remodel has received a recent significant donation earmarked for enhancing what we are doing to bring life back into the Training Lodge. This donation, along with other gifts of time, talent and resources are not just monetary contributions, they are a heartfelt investment in the overall experience and welcome at Disciples Center at Tawakoni.
The Dining Hall exterior face lift continues to progress. Our Dining Hall is not just as a place for nourishment, but as the hub of our camp it is where friendships are forged, stories are shared, and memories are etched into the fabric of our region and beyond. These improvements will not only enhance its visual appeal but also ensure a more inviting and comfortable space for us all to gather.
We’re immensely grateful for the gift for the Training Lodge remodel and for all the donations that have come in over the last few months for the Dining Hall. We are excited for the opportunities that financial gifts and gifts of volunteers’ time present for us to create a more welcoming and inclusive environment. Stay tuned for further updates as we continue to maintain and grow at Disciples Center of Tawakoni.
