Spirit Fest provides an opportunity to connect with Disciples from across the Kansas Region and beyond. Your $20 registration includes a morning reception and a box lunch. As always, we will have a nice selection of books you can purchase at the book table. Remember, a portion of each book sold benefits KDW.
Ask a Friend to Spirit Fest
Spirit Fest is the first Disciples Women event of the year. It is a great time to see old friends and make new acquaintances. Consider asking a neighbor, a friend, or a relative to join you this year. Disciple Women’s events are always open to women of all faiths.
Spirit Fest Service Project
Our service project this year will be to purchase Pizza Hut gift cards for the residents at Kansas Christian Home. Residents love Pizza Hut pizza, and it is even more of a treat when they can choose their favorite toppings with a mini pizza. You can purchase a paper slice of pizza at Spirit Fest for $5.00 that will go towards the purchase of gift cards. What a simple way to share and bring joy to the residents. Your support is appreciated.
Spirit Fest Offering
The offering collected at Spirit Fest will go to Church World Service to purchase a community well in Africa. This gift helps drill a well that transforms an entire community – offering clean water for drinking, washing, and growing food. It’s more than a well – it’s a deep investment in health, hope, and self-reliance. The cost of one well is $1,800.
