By Rev. Dr. David Dubovich
Beloved in Christ,
As we turn the page into a new year, we do so with gratitude, humility, and a renewed sense of purpose. The past year carried both joys and challenges—moments when God’s faithfulness shone brightly and seasons when we felt stretched, weary, or uncertain. Yet through it all, God has remained steadfast, guiding our congregations, leaders, and ministries with grace upon grace.
The turning of the calendar invites us not only to reflect, but to imagine. What might God be preparing among us in the year ahead? Where is the Spirit nudging us to grow, reconnect, or serve in fresh ways? How might our churches embody Christ’s compassion, hospitality, and hope in a world still aching for healing?
This year, as a Regional Church, we commit ourselves once again to:
- Strengthening congregations with support, coaching, care, and shared ministry.
- Encouraging clergy and lay leaders through connection, formation, and well-being.
- Responding to our communities with courageous love and practical compassion.
- Walking together—because we believe we are better, wiser, and more faithful when we do not journey alone.
My prayer is that this new year will be a season of deepening faith, renewed courage, and unexpected joy for every congregation and ministry across the Kansas Region. May Christ meet you in the familiar rhythms of worship and service, and may the Holy Spirit surprise you with possibilities you have not yet imagined.
Let us step into this new year with open hearts and steady hope, trusting the One who makes all things new.
Blessings for the journey.
