ALEX Yearbook reporting is open!
Congregational reporters can now start entering their church’s data for 2023 into ALEX. The ALEX Database and Yearbook is like the Disciples family portrait, and we want your church to be included in the picture.
The reporting period is open until March 4 through ALEX’s online portal. As of Monday, Jan. 22, the Kansas region is at 3% reporting. Our goal is to reach 80% (or more!) reporting.
Congregational reporters should have received an email from ALEX with log-in instructions. You can look up your congregational reporter, change your log-in information, or update who your congregational reporter is by going to alex.disciples.org.
Why should you submit an ALEX Yearbook Report?
Here are seven reasons:
- Cultivate the covenantal relationship between congregations, regions, and general ministries
- Demonstrate a covenantal commitment to the ministry we share
- Contribute to understanding trends in membership, attendance, outreach, and giving
- Help your region and general ministries understand your congregation in order to provide appropriate support and resources
- Provide statistics that contribute to important research
- Provide verification when applying for loans or grants
- Create a historical statistical record for your congregation that will outlive current generations
