“Lavish Hospitality, All are Welcome,” 2016 Kansas Disciple Women’s Spirit Fests held April 9, 10, 16, 17 at four locations across Kansas. Spirit Fests are presented in wide-spread locations each spring to introduce the newest study materials and offer leadership training. The four one-day events also provide worship and fellowship opportunities.
On April 9, women of FCC Scott City will host women of the High Plains District and Hutchinson Park Place will host women of the South Central and Central Districts on April 10.On the second weekend, Manhattan FCC women will host the women of the Northeast District on April 16 and Parsons FCC will host the women of the Southeast District on April 17. Women may attend whichever Spirit Fest fits their schedule not just one that is nearby.
Team members of Woodhaven, Columbia, Mo., will present information about their work with challenged adults. Workshops are the JUST WOMEN Bible Study presented by Jauna Khan, McPherson, “Feminist in Christ” presented by Angela DeVore, Lyons, “Hospitality 101” presented by Judy Cooper and Carla Pearson, Galva, as well as a workshop by the Woodhaven staff.
The cost of the one day event is $15 which includes a light meal, snacks and all materials. Register online below or download a registration and event flier mail to the Regional office in Topeka with payment by Friday, March 25.
