Are you partnered with or married to a pastor/clergy person?
Have you ever felt singled out by your congregation or society because of that identity?
Do you sometimes grapple with your own identity, separate from theirs, because of your unique setting?
Would you enjoy the company of others facing similar questions?
Then “Pastor Partners” may be a group for you!
Newly formed, this online intergenerational group meets monthly for one hour to discuss topics of interest pertaining to who we are as spouses or partners of ministers. The hope is that the virtual gatherings will expand in the future to include in-person opportunities for folks in their own locales, regions, and beyond.
This group launched earlier this month and plans to continue meeting the first Tuesday of every month. To learn more about “Pastor Partners,” contact us below, and we will send you information. The next meeting is offered twice on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. to accommodate busy schedules.
Amy Yandell, First Christian Church in Greensboro, N.C. and Jennie Shirey, from Central Christian Church in Lexington, Ky., (temporarily at Broadway Christian Church in Columbia, Mo., where her husband is serving as Interim Lead Pastor), are the lead facilitators of “Pastor Partners”.
They’d love to hear from you!
