The dates and locations of the 2022 Spirit Fest have been set. Our thanks to the following host churches.
- April 2 at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, Salina
- April 9 at First Christian Church, Emporia
- April 30 at Riverside Christian Church, Wichita
We are excited to welcome Rev. Angéle Saunders Johnson, Executive Director of Disciples Women, as the keynote speaker.
Angéle began her work as executive director in August 2021. Most recently, she served as the Minister of Discipleship and Outreach for Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, Tenn.
Her prior experience includes faith-based community organizing, executive pastoral leadership, and serving as Director of Christian Education for New Covenant Christian Church in Nashville, Tenn. Angéle brings excitement and a passion for the work of Disciples Women.
We are excited to welcome her to the Kansas Region and hope that many of you will plan to attend Spirit Fest in 2022. The theme of the 2022 event is “What Does God Require of Me?” based on Micah 6:8. Spirit Fest will be an event you won’t want to miss.
