The Kansas Region has been on an inspiring journey of growth and change over the past three years. As a Regional Church, we are deeply committed to being a resource to the Kansas Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) congregations. The Region is here to serve, connect, and equip congregations to do the work God has called them to do. Every congregation is unique, requiring an exceptional response, service, and connection. Over the past three years, your regional ministry team has brought two dozen new pastors to the Region. We have been present for meetings, worship, and summer camp. We have helped congregations in transition. We have helped congregations in conflict and those struggling to identify who they are today and who they need to be in the future. Your regional staff have contributed tens of thousands of hours of work within congregations and driven hundreds of thousands of miles to be present in the length and breadth of our Region.
The Kansas Region is at work all around you! We have guided five people through the ordination process and have twelve more on the journey towards ordination. We have twenty lay ministers under care supporting their call to serve and meet the needs of local congregations. Disciples Center at Tawakoni will welcome hundreds of children, youth, and families to camp this summer. Travis, David, and I will continue growing our network of pastors to support Kansas congregations looking for a new pastor. But even more than that, the Kansas Region is offering a wealth of free resources: Marsha McFee’s worship resources, the Center for Faith and Giving Stewardship programs, and the benefits of Mission-Insite! These resources, provided at no cost, are designed to strengthen the ministry of each congregation within the Region. If you need help accessing these resources, please get in touch with one of us so we can help you!

Thank you so much for loving and supporting your church. We are partners in this ministry by bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to our Region.
Your support of the Disciples Mission Fund and the Kansas Region makes this work possible. Would you help and partner with us in this vital work? I ask you to prayerfully consider a monetary gift to the Kansas Regional Church Annual Fund. You can do so in a couple of ways, one drop a check in your congregation’s offering with a memo, the Kansas Regional Annual Fund. Or secondly, you can give securely online on the regional website. Thirdly, if your retirement account requires a “minimum distribution,” you may direct a charitable donation to the Christian Church in Kansas. Please get in touch with your financial advisor. Finally, by sending a check to the regional office at:
