Join in the celebration to honor Regional Minister Ken Marston’s 15 years of regional ministry service in Kansas. Festivities begin at noon, on Saturday, Jan. 6, at Great Bend First Christian Church, 5230 Broadway Ave., with a come-and-go soup bar lunch and reception concluding at 3 p.m.

Over his 35 years of ministry, Ken has served Disciple’s congregations in Yukon, Okla., Pryor, Okla., and Neosho, Mo., as well as several regional leadership positions.
As CCK Regional Minister, he worked with committees for Clergy Care Ministries, the Disciples Men program, the Spiritual Priority team, and the Anti-Racism/Pro-Reconciliation Task Force. He also developed the Pastor Salary Support program, Congregational Enhancement Grants, and spearheaded getting the initial partnership grants from the Kansas Leadership Center.
He led numerous workshops and training programs including Boundaries Training; Disciples Men Retreats in Kansas, Nebraska, and Virginia; Disciples Church History and Conflict Management workshops; and Kansas Clergy Retreat.

Ken and his wife, Donna, plan to remain in Great Bend as they begin this new chapter of their lives.

The Disciples Men Endowment, managed by the Christian Church Foundation, is used for special programs related to Disciples Men mission work.
