The 2021 Kansas Disciples Women (KDW) retreat is now history. Our time together at Camp Tawakoni was filled with laughter, love, and fellowship. Beth Rupe brought us wonderful, inspiring keynote messages. Workshops included current topics as well as crafting opportunities and we learned how several of our Disciples Women serve in their communities.
Congratulations to Fran Gast and Karen Harvester who had the lucky retreat books that earned them a fully paid registration to the 2022 retreat! The organizing team did a phenomenal job of putting this event together and hopefully they enjoyed a few days of well-deserved rest.
Jeanette Hammond, 2022 Retreat Coordinator, along with her team, are already busy planning for next year’s retreat. The theme, “Let’s Bee Church and Make a Difference” will be fun and encourage all of us to be the church we say we are. Watch for more details on the 2022 retreat in upcoming NewsBytes and on the KDW Facebook page.
