Please register today for this year’s Anti-racism training. It will begin at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30 and conclude around 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2. The Rev. David Bell and Rev. Chesla Nickelson will be our trainers for this experience.
During the training, we will be exploring the history of racism in our country and in our church. We will also wrestle with the systemic dimensions of racism and with how we can address this sin as followers of Jesus Christ.
Pastors, remember, you need to have this training on a regular basis to maintain your status of being in “Good Standing” with the region. If it has been more than 3 years since you have participated in Pro-reconciling/Anti-racism training, then it is time for you to participate in this training.
The cost is $35 for two nights of lodging and five meals (two breakfasts, two meals, one lunch, and the cost of the training). If you are not staying overnight at the camp, the cost is $25. Register now online here or through your ENGAE account.
