One way that your church can become a better steward of what you have is by aligning church communication and church vision. Learn how to communicate better and reach your church’s mission goals at the 2019 Art of Church Communication workshops.
These workshops will be Tuesday mornings, 9:30-12:30, in March at Disciples Center at Tawakoni. Both in-person and video options will be available.
Each workshop will include discussion on various strategies and hands-on application. They are not just for church office staff. Anyone interested in church communication ministry, regardless of skill level, is welcome and encouraged to attend.
March 4: Your Church Story in Photographs
If a picture is worth a thousand words … Learn how to take, edit, select, and publish pictures that tell the story of your church ministry.
March 11: Building Your Church’s Public Image
What does your image and reputation say about you? Explore how to intentionally bring unity, purpose, and consistency to how you communicate your church mission and vision.
March 18: The Community Connection
Explore ways to get your message of hope and grace beyond your walls. Learn how to speak the language of your community to invite visitors and welcome them into your church family.
March 25: The Welcome Center
Take the perspective of a first-time visitor. Explore your church’s first impression and learn what visitors want to see, do and hear when they walk into your church. Engage first time visitors in the ways of Christ.

Things are better with friends! Register with two or more friends from your church for $65 per person when you register for all 4 workshops.
A minimum of 6 paid registrations is required by February 15 to hold workshops.
