ALEX Yearbook Reporting Open

You can now start entering your church’s ALEX Yearbook report data for 2023. Your congregational reporter should have received a reminder email with login instructions. The ALEX Yearbook is like the Disciples family portrait, and we want your church to be included in the picture! We look forward to receiving your data.

Need Some Help?

Resources and answers to frequently asked questions, links, and video tutorials are available in ALEX’s Help Center tab.  Here are a few common questions:

  • I don’t know who my congregational reporter is.
    Go to alex.disciples.org and click on “Look up my Congregation.” Use your congregation’s PIN and ZIP code to look up your congregation’s reporter.
  • I need to change my username and contact email:
    Login to ALEX and go to Settings (gear icon). Change the contact information and click Save. You can also change your preferred language to Spanish on the Settings page.
  • I don’t remember my Username:
    Email alex@disciples.org and include your congregation’s PIN or name/city/state. The ALEX team can look up the username on file.
  • What if my church doesn’t have a congregational reporter?
    Email alex@disciples.org and include your congregation’s PIN or name/city/state.
  • I don’t know my church’s PIN:
    Staff in the Topeka Regional Office can look up your congregation’s PIN and assist you with the reporting process.

Seven Reasons to Complete the ALEX Yearbook Report:

  1. Cultivate the covenantal relationship between congregations, regions, and general ministries
  2. Demonstrate a covenantal commitment to the ministry we share
  3. Contribute to understanding trends in membership, attendance, outreach, and giving
  4. Help your region and general ministries in understanding your congregation to provide appropriate support and resources
  5. Provide statistics that contribute to important research for the Disciples in the U.S. and Canada as well as all mainline denominations
  6. Provide verification when applying for loans or grants
  7. Create a historical statistical record for your congregation that will outlive current generations

Thank you for all your efforts to supply this information. As of Monday, Jan. 22, 3% of Kansas Disciples have turned in their reports.  Kudos go to Tiffany Detienne and our new church start, The Fringe, for being the first church in the denomination to turn in their report.

Remember the deadline is March 4!
