Established by the Kansas Women’s Board of Missions, the Kansas Bible Chair (KBC) provides grants for educational programs and lectureships which will benefit both laity and clergy of Disciple congregations in Kansas.
All grant requests are to be made in writing at www.kansasdisciples.org/grants, expressing the purpose, goals, plans for the project, and the specific financial support requested. Requests must also have an endorsement from a committee or commission of the Christian Church in Kansas.
The requested funds will be granted with the understanding that the recipient group will provide an accounting of all the funds received and expended for the project. Any KBC Funds granted but not needed for the purpose expressly stated in the request are to be returned to the fund.
The spring deadline to submit grant applications is March 31. To help avoid confusion, use a separate form for each request, rather than combining related but individual items.
