KDW Spirit Fest (Session 1)
Registration for Spirit Fest 2023 is an annual gathering of women that offers workshops, worship, and fellowship with other Disciples Women across the Kansas Region. Topeka West Side Christian Church and Wichita’s Woodridge Christian Church who will host Spirit Fest on April 22 and May 6, respectively. The women of these congregations are extending their hospitality and preparing for your arrival. Please plan to attend.
Gail Goolsby will be the Spirit Fest keynote speaker. Gail holds master’s degrees in Professional Counseling and Educational Leadership. Following the tragedy of September 11, 2001, Gail found herself as the founding principal of the International School of Kabul in Afghanistan. The how, when, and why of her journey is part of her book entitled, “Unveiled Truth.” Gail and her pastor husband Michael live in south central Kansas. Her story is one of passion and commitment and you will be absorbed in her story of how she lives her faith while helping others.
Do you know women who are unable to drive? Offer them a ride and enjoy some extra fellowship time together.
This year we are asking women to bring a canned good item to Spirit Fest. The canned goods will be included in the food bank ministry of the host church.
Cost is $15. Online registration will close one week prior to the event start date. Registration after that date will be accepted by phone and at the event organizer’s discretion.
