AOCC: Building Your Church Communications Team

No one person can do it alone. It takes a dedicated team with a common mission goal to reach out, connect, and grow your church. Explore the kinds of roles that make up a church communications team.

Develop effective church communication strategies and goals and become a better steward of your church’s communication resources at the 2021 Art of Church Communication workshops.

This is week one of a five-week workshop series. Both in-person and live streaming video options are available. In-person location is tentatively set for Tawakoni. Leaders will closely monitor COVID guidelines by city, county, and state health professionals and take appropriate safety precautions.

These workshops provide church leadership – pastors, office staff, and members – with tools and strategies to improve their church’s overall communication ministry effectiveness. Each workshop will include an interactive presentation, guided hands-on activities, and real-world church applications. Workshops are for anyone (not just church office staff). If you’re interested in church communication ministry, regardless of skill level, you are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Individual registration cost is $30 per workshop or $120 for all five.  The church group registration cost is $100 per person when three or more from the same church register for all five workshops.  Online registration opens on January 4. A minimum of 10 paid registrations is required by February 12 to hold workshops.
