Jim retired from Topeka First Christian Church after serving that congregation for 20 years. Prior to his Topeka ministry, Jim served the Chanute congregation for 8 years and several congregations in the Mid-America region prior to moving to Kansas. Jim is a native of Missouri, a graduate of Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri and St. Paul School of Theology in Kansas City. He received his Doctor of Ministry degree from San Francisco Theology Seminary. Placing emphasis on preaching and teaching have been his special concerns as a pastor. Jim is married to Charlotte and they have two adult sons, Dwight and Andrew and a granddaughter, Mellie.
